明治時代に作られた 磁器製の火鉢です。
赤絵で雲文様、流水文の中を泳ぐ「らんちゅう（金魚）」が生き生きと描かれています。
古い物ですが、カケや割れ等有りません。
明治に創業し、現代まで続く有田焼の窯元晩香窯庄健(ばんこうがましょうけん)。明治17年(1884年)に上絵付を専業とする赤絵屋として始まり、製品には、初代である庄村健吉の俳号「晩香」の銘が使われました。
この火鉢の銘は、右から書かれた
「香晩」になっています。

Antique Japanese Hibachi (Brazier)
This is a large porcelain hibachi, likely made in the late Meiji to early Showa period (early 20th century).
Decorated in vivid red overglaze with swirling water patterns and swimming Ranchu goldfish, a symbol of prosperity and good fortune in Japan.
Originally made as a hibachi (charcoal brazier), but today it can be enjoyed as:
・A decorative interior piece
・A cachepot for plants
・A large wine cooler for entertaining
Marked “香晩” (Banko) on the base.
